ColVic’s focus is on offering the petroleum industry in Africa the best design, product and service supply solutions for modern forecourts through an end-to-end forecourt, fuel tanker equipment and service solution. Since 1998 we have partnered with major oil companies, project engineers, contractors, dealers, to supply world-class turnkey engineering designs, products and services for retail and commercial forecourts. ColVic’s unrivalled knowledge of fuelling systems flows from decades of combined experience within the fuel equipment and services market.
We support South African manufacturing, and we develop products to international oil company requirements using Computer Aided Design (CAD) programmes. Our manufacturing workshops are equipped with Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machinery for manufacturing accuracy and optimum quality and performance at site. All ColVic’s manufacturing, including road and rail tanker equipment, is overseen by Frank Spaey, the inventor of the Barret coupler/adaptor, the system which prevents product cross-contamination at storage tank filling points. ColVic’s manufacturing procesess are audited for compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system by the SA Bureau of Standards, with products such as the ColVic shear valve certified by UL Solutions.

The ColVic training centre, the only facility of its type in Africa, offers comprehensive theoretical and practical training and evaluation on forecourt and commercial site fuel systems. All the relevant systems are realistically displayed for instructional purposes where trainees get a hands-on feel of their function and application. Our trainers are certified by MerSETA, the South African Sector Education and Training Authorities for Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services. ColVic’s training centre is the only KPS Pipe systems-approved training facility in Africa and successful candidates are certified as competent against set KPS standards.
Comprehensive instruction on the installation and troubleshooting of fuelling systems is provided, and when each ColVic-trained candidate leaves the Centre they have a full understanding of the relevant fuelling system and the installation thereof.
